With the help of family in Japan, we navigated the small alleyways of Tokyo’s Asakusa district and approached a long-established community of Japanese artisans that speak little to no English and normally don’t deal with foreigners.
After years of groundwork, we established a close relationship with a small team of Japanese master shoemakers, whom have dedicated a life-time to their craft.
Pursuit of Perfection
Together with our team of Japanese artisans, we spent over two years repeatedly fine-tuning the shoes design, comfort, quality, materials and build.
